Why is clinical research in medicinal cannabis needed?
The prevalence of medicinal cannabis treatment has made significant progress over the last years, however, fewer than 5% of Australian doctors are currently prescribing cannabis. Cannvalate was largely responsible for the dymystimifaction of patient access in Australia starting in 2018, and we’re still one of Australia’s leading preferred service providers. There is however a significant gap in double blinded clinical trial data, which is holding back mass adoption.
This brings us to why we’re focused on bridging the gap by providing robust clinical data to enable doctors to acquire the confidence to integrate medicinal cannabis treatment into their medical practice.
